Dr. Kim has been practicing in the Pacific Northwest for more than 15 years.

He proudly claims to be a native of the Pacific Northwest, even though growing up mostly in California. His parents first immigrated from South Korea to Portland, OR in 1974, where his mom worked as a nurse at Portland Adventist Hospital and his dad joined the US Army, serving proudly for 20 years.

Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2004. He has spent numerous hours of training and coursework beyond his formal training in order to better provide comprehensive care to his patients.

Dr. Kim has had the privilege of providing dental care in a variety of different dental settings, including a community dental clinic, multi-office practices, a partnership setting, a corporate setting, and longest in his previous private practice in downtown Vancouver, WA as a solo practitioner.

All of his experiences have motivated him to create an office environment where each member of the team focuses on the patient's unique dental needs.

He is committed to being as honest and conservative as possible with his recommendations for treatment. And most importantly, he will never pressure you or try to "sell" you dentistry. His goal is to treat every patient as if they are family.

When Dr. Kim is not practicing dentistry, his family time is very important to him. He also enjoys cycling, both on the road and on the trails. He enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, soccer, surfing, and snowboarding any chance he gets. He is also an avid hiker and backpacker. He and his family love all that the Pacific Northwest offers.
